Getting found organically
New website but no one knows about it?
It’s a common problem. Maybe you sell Panasonic televisions and whenever somebody uses a search engine to find out where they can buy, say, a Panasonic TX-P42GT30B you want to be right there in the frame, front and center.
That doesn’t sound unreasonable, so why isn’t it working?
You’ve already made sure that the TX-P42GT30B is listed on your new website and you can see that the content’s been indexed by search engines already – shouldn’t you be up there on page one?
The truth is, there are quite literally billions of individual web pages on the internet today and whilst you won’t, of course, be competing with all of them, performing well in your own little part of the search results is still always going to be a challenge – especially in cases where the ‘big boys’ are particularly dominant.
The good news (and there is some)
Whilst the days of ‘stuffing’ your meta keywords tags for a favourable search engine ranking may be long gone, a poor performance can often still be dramatically improved if you:
- Understand how search engines work and what they look for when ranking sites
- Know precisely which factors are affecting your site’s performance and what exactly you need to do to address them
- Are able to dedicate the required (and often significant) amount of time to the task, now and in the future
Search engine marketing really isn’t rocket science but it does require a certain level of knowledge and committment and that’s where OXLink comes in.
What we can do for you
Every project is different but, as a general guide, we’d begin by reviewing where you are and where you want to be, then, with the use of various SEO tools (plus some good old fashioned legwork!) we’d work out a plan of performance-improving on-site and off-site actions to take forward.
