A new challenge – Newbury 10K

My goodness where has the time gone – I can’t believe it has been over a year since these beauties pounded the streets of Reading for the 2011 Half Marathon!

I have a new challenge now so its time to dust them off, test the knees and get into training. Myself and a group of friends are running the Newbury 10K to raise awareness of Motor Neurone Disease, which is a is a progressive neurodegenerative disease that attacks the upper and lower motor neurones. This cause is very close to my heart and we have set ourselves the challenge of raising £10,000 by completing various different events. To date we have raised nearly £8000 by running, walking,cycling and even partying!
